If you are hard pressed to find the differences
between the Kodak Easyshare Z7590 Zoom
and the Innovations
2005 Design and Engineering Award winner
Kodak DX7590 Zoom it replaces, that is because
they are basically the same camera. The Kodak
Z7590 still has 5.0 megapixels resolution, a very
high resolution 311K pixels EVF, and 10x optical
zoom using a Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon lens
with focal lengths equivalent to a 38 - 380mm
35mm camera lens. Macro is at 12 cm (4.7 in.),
shutter speed ranges from 1/8-1,1700 sec. (with
the possibility to go as long as 16 sec. in manual
mode), and a maximum aperture of F2.8.
One improvement is the addition of a live histogram.
The Kodak Z7590 also claims a high-speed, low-light
auto-focus system with dual sensors with a remarkably
fast 0.2 click-to-capture speed. It looks elegant
in its black body, provides flexible exposure
control, and has a large 2.2 in. LCD.
The Kodak Z7590 is compatible with KODAK EASYSHARE
System. Images tagged in the camera can be immediately
printed or emailed when you dock it in the optional
Printer Dock Series 3.
The Kodak Easyshare Z7590 will appeal
to beginner and serious amateur photographers
who desire an ultra zoom point-and-shoot with
flexible exposure control.
