Image stabilization comes to the Kodak EasyShare High Zoom Series in the Kodak EasyShare Z612 Zoom, a 12x optical zoom (35 mm–420 mm) digital camera with 6.1MP resolution for large prints. It has an elegant all-silver body and, as with other EasyShare digital cameras, it gives great-looking pictures while remaining simple to use.

The Kodak Z612 is medium compact in size [though quite small for a 12x optical zoom] and will fit in your coat pocket. The best way to carry it is with the neck strap comfortably slung around your neck or shoulders.

The advanced settings and custom modes on the Kodak Z612 makes it an excellent digital camera for student photographers. It has full exposure flexibility and is choke full of other practical features important to serious amateur photograhers.

Beginners will obtain great images in Auto mode, Program AE mode, or the many Scene Modes -- and progress to use the other exposure modes, including full Manual mode and live Histogram, when they are ready for more challenging and creative photography.

The Kodak Z612 is an easy-to-use family camera for capturing all those precious moments. Then print them out using the optional Photo Printer 500 at the touch of a button -- even without turning your computer on! If you do not want to post-process any images in an image editing software, the Kodak Z612's default settings produce images that are sharp and rich in colours straight out of the camera.

The Kodak EasyShare High Zoom Series has always been popular with photographers, and now the addition of Image Stabilization technology to the Kodak Z612 helps reduce camera shake when taking pictures at longer zoom ranges and slow shutter speeds.
