The Kodak EasyShare V1253 Zoom features 12.1 megapixel resolution and a SCHNEIDER-KREUZNACH VARIOGON 3x optical zoom lens (37–111 mm equiv.). It is an easy-to-use point-and-shoot compact digital camera with AUTO mode, plus Scene Modes to automate common picture-taking and some of the more challenging lighting situations.

There is an extra large 3.1-in. 16:9 LCD screen and you can record HD quality video (720p) @ 30fps in stereo sound.

The Kodak PERFECT TOUCH Technology brightens pictures that look too dark, and Digital IS (anti-blur scene mode) will automatically select a high ISO to help eliminate or reduce blur due to camera shake and/or subject movement. Face Detection technology locates faces and automatically adjusts camera settings. A really easy-to-use and fun in-camera panorama stitching mode combines up to three shots into one panoramic view.

The Kodak EasyShare V1253 retains the famed Kodak point-and-shoot ease of use in a slim body, now allowing capture of photos and videos in true HD quality. Available in Black or White.
