The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ20 has come
a long way from Panasonic's early forays into
digital cameras with the FZ1.
It still sports the excellent Leica 12x optical
zoom (36-432mm, 35 mm equivalent), which always
included Image Stabilization, a max. aperture
of F2.8 throughout the entire zoom range, full
flexible exposure (which the FZ1 lacked), a large
2 in. LCD monitor, and an AF-Assist lamp.
Image quality is very good, though a bit noisy,
and shutter response is quite good.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ20 is an ultrazoom
you would want to include in your shortlist.
