The Fujifilm FinePix S700 (S5700 in Europe) is the Fujifilm's affordable ultra zoom digital camera with 10x optical zoom, 7.1MP resolution and dual memory slots (it accepts the xD-Picture Card as well as the SD Memory card). It looks professional in its compact SLR-type black body.
The FinePix S700 replaces the S5200 (or, S5600 in Europe) and features a large 2.5" high resolution, wide viewing angle, 230,000 pixel LCD and electronic viewfinder. It also features 2 new features when shooting movies: an easy zoom function and electronic image stabilization function for minimizing blur. Super Macro mode allows you to shoot photos as close as 1cm!
It also features the NEW On-Screen Help that briefly explains each of the 12 scene modes, 11 shooting modes and 6 flash modes. The i-Flash Intelligent Flash works
in tandem with high sensitivity settings to preserve
natural skin tones.
The Fujifilm S700 continues to use
popular (4) AA alkaline batteries as its power
source. Movie recording with sound is at 640x480
30fps.
