The Fujifilm FinePix S5200 replaces and improves upon the S5100 with 5.1MP resolution on the new 5th Generation SuperCCD HR image sensor with low noise at high ISO (1600) capabilities. This new image sensor is what makes the Fujifilm S5200 a different camera than the S5100 and should give it a great advantage over its many ultra zoom competitors.

It still sports 10x optical zoom, a low-light focus-assist lamp, and ups the LCD monitor to 1.8 in.

The Fujifilm S5200 has a maximum aperture of F3.2, shutter speeds from 15- 1/2,000 sec., and allows full exposure control with Shutter-Priority AE, Aperture-Priority AE, Scene Modes and Manual mode. It uses 4 AA batteries.

The Fujifilm FinePix S5200 is still one of the best looking digital camera and should prove very popular to beginner and serious amateur photographers desiring a long zoom with flexible exposure control -- now with low noise at high ISO capabilities.
