THE FUJIFILM FINEPIX S2000HD OFFERS FULL HIGH-DEFINITION CAPABILITY in a true widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio. A new signal processor converts still images and movies in-camera into a HDTV signal output compatible with 1080i (interlaced) for still and 720p (progressive) for movies. The S2000HD features a 15x wide-angle optical zoom (27.6-414mm equiv.), a large 2.7-in. wide-view LCD (230K dots) and almost full exposure flexibility with Program AE, Shutter-Priority and Manual modes [Aperture-Priority mode is missing].
Dual Image Stabilization combines mechanical Sensor-shift IS to reduce blurring caused by camera shake with Picture Stabilization that uses a fast shutter speed and high sensitivity
(up to ISO 1600) to prevent blur caused by subject movement.
The FinePix S2000HD features 10MP resolution on a 1/ 2.3-inch CCD image sensor. Face Detection detects up to 10 faces at a time and automatically detects and corrects red-eye. In a change from past models, the S2000HD does not accept the xD-Picture
Card, but only Secure Digital (SD/SDHC) memory cards. It uses 4 AA batteries.
