The Fujifilm FinePix F810 continues to
use Fujifilm's own Super CCD HR image sensor which
has 6.3 effective megapixels but records images
in 12.3MP.
It has 4x optical zoom with a slight wide-angle
at 32.5mm; a unique high-resolution widescreen
2.1-in. LCD monitor that allows you to view and
capture images in 16:9 format (though it's actually
equivalent to a 1.8-in. when using the regular
4:3 format), full flexible exposure control (including
a couple of Scene Modes), RAW file format, and
includes an AF-Assist Illuminator to help achieve
focus in low-light situations.
A Picture Cradle is standard, as is a power adaptor.
Optional accessories include a Soft Case SC-FX701,
an xD-Picture Card USB Drive DPC-UD1, and the
Waterproof Case WP-FX701.
The Fujifilm FinePix F810 should appeal
to serious amateur photographers who desire full
exposure flexibility but probably need to be experienced
in both using a camera to its full potential as
well as in post-processing to bring out the best
in this camera.
