Dual Image Stabilization combines mechanical Sensor-shift IS to reduce blurring caused by camera shake with Picture Stabilization that uses a fast shutter speed and high sensitivity to prevent blur caused by subject movement.
Face Detection detects up to 10 faces at a time and automatically detects and corrects red-eye. New is Scene Recognition (SR AUTO) mode that automatically identifies subjects, scenes and faces and adjusts exposure, focus, white balance and ISO accordingly to ensure clarity and sharpness, regardless of background. It accepts xD-Picture
Card as well as Secure Digital (SD/SDHC) memory cards.
