megapixel resolution on a 1/1.6 in. 7th Generation
Super CCD HR image sensor delivering low noise ISO 1600
at full resolution, and up to ISO 3200 at 6MP and ISO 6400 at 3MP.
A new "Dual Image Stabilization" feature combines Mechanical CCD-shift Stabilization with Picture Stabilization. Together, Dual Image Stabilization helps reduce blur due to camera shake and subject movement.
A new Face Detection 2.0 technology can now recognize faces even from the side and adds automatic Red-Eye Removal. A 2.7-in. wide-angle view LCD has a high 230K pixels resolution and makes composing and viewing images easy.
Movie recording is 640 x 480 pixels at 30 frames/sec
with monaural sound. A new i-Flash system avoids
washed out pictures by outputting only the right
amount of light.
The Fujifilm F50fd provides full photographic control with PASM functions. It accepts xD-Picture
Card as well as Secure Digital (SD/SDHC) memory cards. It is housed in a new durable all metal chassis. A new IrSimple™ technology allows for fast wireless image transfer to other IrSimple™ compatible products (including another IrSimple™ digital camera).
