The Fujifilm FinePix E550 Zoom is a brand
new design for Fujifilm with an ergonomic shape
that provides a secure and comfortable grip, a
large 2-in. LCD monitor, and a 4x optical zoom.
The E550 has 6.3 megapixel resolution (on a
1/1.7 in. Super CCD HR image sensor), macro as
close as 7.5 cm (3 in.), Area Focus to make focusing
on off-center subjects easy, and full exposure
flexibility.
Shutter speed ranges from 3 - 1/2,000 sec. (depending
on exposure mode), Scene Modes make it easy to
obtain the right exposure in different situations,
and Movies are recorded (with sound) at 640x480
pixels, 30 frames/sec. The E550 is PictBridge-compatible.
The Fujifilm FinePix E550 will appeal
to beginner and serious amateur photographers
desiring an easy-to-use digital camera that can
be used in Auto mode, as well as providing full
exposure flexibility for those who want to learn
and improve their creative skills in digital photography.
