COMMENT
What happens when you take paintings from the masters and reduce them to their most basic colors? British artist Arthur Baxton did just that and famous paintings by the likes of Monet, Matisse, Van Gogh and Gaughin are reduced to colorful pie charts. It gives you a good idea of what color palettes the painters preferred to use. I happen to like Matisse and his bright colors.
