Casio Exilim EX-Z57

Category: Point-and-Shoot

Note: We have a couple of major differences in the specs issued from the US press release and UK press release, especially concerning shutter speed range and exposure control modes. The following specs are from the US press release. I betcha there are copy-&-paste mistakes to be clarified by both sites.

The Casio Exilim EX-Z57 Zoom is sleek, stylish and lightweight in its aluminum body. It is equipped with an extra large 2.7 in. LCD monitor and is still small enough to qualify as JeansPocket™ Certified.

The Casio Z57 has 5.0 megapixels resolution, 3x optical zoom, a F2.8 maximum aperture. You can shoot movie clips of unlimited length at 320x240 15fps until the SD memory card is full.

The Casio Z57 has an internal flash memory of 9.3 MB and Casio claims that it can take approximately 400 shots on a single battery charge (CIPA standards). It also claims a fast startup of 1.6 sec. and shutter lag of 0.01 sec.

If you are looking for a compact digital camera, check out the Casio Exilim EX-Z57.
