Carbon Nanotubes Bend Light Around Themselves To Form Invisibility Cloak

Researchers at UT Dallas recently demonstrated that transparent carbon nanotube sheets, which can have the density of air and the specific strength of steel, can be used to make objects invisible. The threadlike material becomes so hot when heated up that it can bend light around an object, making it look as if it has disappeared.
