Canon PowerShot A95

Canon PowerShot A95

Category: Beginner to Serious Amateur

The Canon PowerShot A95 replaces the PowerShot A80. It has 5 megapixels resolution, a 1.8 in. LCD monitor that swivels, rotates and tilts (invaluable for macro shots), and full exposure flexibility.

Everything else is basically the same as for the Canon A80, with improvements in a better resolution LCD (118K pixels), and a body that has shaved off a couple of mm and grams.

The Canon PowerShot A95 (and the Canon A85) is our recommended entry level digital camera for someone just starting out in photography. It is a better camera than the Canon A85, with a larger image sensor, more megapixels resolution, and a swivelling LCD. Both are feature-packed and will grow with you as you learn more about digital photography.
