The Canon PowerShot TX1 is where Canon's HD movies technology intersects its PowerShot digital imaging know-how. The result is the PowerShot TX1, a 7.1MP resolution digital camera that can capture HD movies using 10x image stabilized optical zoom. It has a stylish vertical design in a stainless steel ELPH-sized body. The lens retracts into the camera body and has a built-in lens cap.
There
is a 1.8-in. Vari-Angle, Wide-View LCD with 115,000 pixels
resolution. It has a scratch-resistant, anti-reflection and anti-fingerprint coating for easy on-camera viewing even in bright sunlight.
Face Detection FE technology ensures the subject's face will be in focus and properly exposed, even when using flash. The Auto ISO shift feature raises the ISO speed to record at a shutter speed that avoids the effects of camera shake.
The Canon TX1's enhanced movie shooting allows you to shoot 1280 x 720 HD movies at 30 fps with Face Detection, stereo sound and 1080i component video playback. Optical zoom and image stabilization are available while movie shooting. The maximum clip size is 4 GB (or 1 hour, whichever is reached first). Scene Modes automate exposure settings
for 7 different shooting situations.
