DPReview has posted their review of the Canon PowerShot SX1 IS [Specs], an ultra zoom digital camera with its 10MP resolution (1/2.3-in. CMOS), 20x wide-angle optical zoom (28-560mm equiv.), optical image stabilization, 2.8-in. Vari-angle LCD (230K dots), HD movie (1920×1080) @ 30fps, PASM modes, Intelligent Contrast Correction, Face-Detection, Face-Detection Self-timer and RAW file format. According to DPReview, the SX1 IS "cannot deliver on the promise of the CMOS sensor" and image quality is unfortunately "slightly worse [than on] the much cheaper SX10 IS" with high ISO noise being the main problem.
