/ Digital IXUS 90 IS is a compact digital
camera with a square body shape and elegantly sculptured lines and edges. It features 10.0MP resolution, a 3x optical zoom with optical Image Stabilizer
technology to reduce camera shake.
There
is an extra large 3.0-in. LCD with a high 230,000 pixels
resolution with a wide angle viewing.
Canon Face Detection AF/AE/FE/WB Technology automatically detects and sets the focus, exposure, white balance and flash automatically. In Shooting Mode, the Print/Share Button is used to engage Face Select & Track function where once the focus is fixed to a subject's face, the frame can be set to follow the subject within a certain range. By setting the AF frame to Face Detect, you can quickly check the focus on the subject's face by zooming on the AF frame.
Red-Eye Correction automatically searches for and corrects red eyes in the image when the flash fires.
Motion Detection Technology detects camera shake, brightness of subject and background, and movement of face and subject. By consolidating and analyzing these parameters, it adjusts the intelligent ISO speed to reduce the effects of camera shake and subject movement.
In Auto ISO, the camera favours a lower ISO to ensures the highest image quality.
A new rotary Control Dial makes operation faster and more intuitive.
The Canon SD790 IS allows you to shoot a clip
of 640x480 movie at 30fps until the SD memory
card is full (4GB clips at a time or 1 hour, whichever is reached first). Time Lapse Movie allows you to record events from a fixed perspective, such as the spectacle of a flower budding over time, or view changing elements in a short period.
