The Canon PowerShot SD450 Digital ELPH
is an ultracompact JeansPocket™
Certified digital camera which replaces the SD400. It has an ultra white brillant finish without unwanted reflections.
The Canon SD450 has 5.0 megapixels resolution,
3x optical zoom (on a Canon's exclusive "UA" lens), a F2.8 maximum aperture, and
a shutter speed range of 15-1/1,500 sec. New is the
extra large 2.5 in. LCD with 115,000 pixels
resolution. Grid lines can be displayed to facilitate keeping the horizontal level.
The Canon SD450 allows you to shoot a clip of
640x480 movie at 30fps until the SD memory card
is full. Take night pictures with a long shutter
speed of 15 sec., and Scene Modes automate exposure
settings for different shooting situations.
The
Canon SD450 has an AF Assist Illuminator to aid in obtaining focus in
low-light conditions. Optional accessories include a High Power Flash
HF DC1 to supplement the camera's built-in flash when the subject is
too far away for proper illumination (the shooting range is extended
approximately twice), and an All-Weather Case AW-DC50 to take
underwater shots at depths of down to 3 meters (9.8 ft.) and is also
ideal for taking worry-free pictures in the rain, at the beach, or on
the ski slopes.
If you are looking for a high resolution ultra-compact,
take-anywhere digital camera, check out the Canon
Powershot SD450 Digital ELPH -- now with an
extra large 2.5 in. LCD monitor.
