Drop it, soak it, freeze it, cover it in dirt — and the Fujifilm FinePix XP10 keeps clicking. It features 12.2MP resolution (1/2.3-in. CCD), 5x optical zoom (36-180mm equiv.), and a 6.9-cm (2.7-in.) LCD display screen (230k-dot) in a super-slim JeansCertified™ metal uni-body chassis with a tactile grip finish.

The FinePix XP10 joins the “TOUGH” category and is waterproof up to 10 feet (3m), shockproof up to 1m (3ft), freezeproof up to -10°C (14°F) and dustproof, meaning that you can use it pretty much wherever you want to without worrying about damaging it. Its tough credentials are neatly hidden behind an ultra compact, lightweight and stylish metal body which is so slim you can put it in your pocket and carry with you everywhere.

You can shoot High-Definition (HD) movie 1280×720 pixels (720p) at 30fps with monaural sound. An optional HD Player Kit includes an HD Card Reader that connects to your HDTV via HDMI Cable for true digital transfer of HD quality and a wireless Remote Control for video playback from the comfort of your couch.

A new Facebook/YouTube Automatic Upload feature makes for quicker and easier modes of posting photos/videos on social networking sites. The one-touch easy web upload button makes sharing photos with friends and family simple and quick. It allows you to mark a photo for Facebook or YouTube upload. Once the camera is connected to a PC and MyFinePix Studio software is launched, all marked photos or movies will upload directly to Facebook or YouTube at the press of a button.

You can get creative and add your own finishing touches to your videos and images using B&W, Sepia, or dynamic lighting effect. Web Mode lets you add special effects to your photos: choose from Sepia, Contrast, Brightness, Diagonal Crop or Face Mosaic. Other features include: Tracking Auto Focus, Face Detection with Automatic Red-eye Removal, and Intelligent Scene Recognition.

An optional accessory kit contains an adjustable float strap, protective silicone skin and a neoprene sports case.

The Fujifilm FinePix XP10 is perfect for those who love the outdoors and want to take their camera wherever they go.
