Time Lapse and High Speed Shooting are the two techniques the BBC Life team uses a lot of to create their award winning David Attenborough nature documentaries.
As you can see, some of the [time lapse] shots are in fact taken in the studio with a “blue screen” behind and then superimposed on the actual outdoors shot. A whole year in 60 seconds. Amazing!
