www.light-harvest.com has created an immersive public video mapping light show that maps images on multiple surfaces and multiple dimensions. It flows above your heads and spreads outwards in every direction. Titled, “As Above, So Below,” viewers are immersed in the architecture of the Manhattan Bridge, physically exploring the shimmering surfaces ignited with messages and symbols.
This production tested every technique in image-making conceivable in the short time frame, including stop motion animation, and the suspension of over twenty performance artists from fly wires at sixteen feet off the ground.
