Americana Manhasset‘s new Fall campaign is photographed, produced and styled by Laspata/DeCaro and stars top editorial models Edita Vilkeviciute and Andrew Cooper. The photos are shot entirely in London with the Beatles, the Queen and Winston Churchill all making “cameo” appearances. Admitting that video is now an integral part of its photo campaigns, it is also releasing a 30-second cinematic video entitled ‘Chelsea Girl’ which draws its inspiration in part by the classic British film, ‘Georgy Girl.’ The 64-page Fall Fashion Book is direct-mailed exclusively to 150,000 households. In addition, the pages of the book come to life via a video look book on americanamanhasset.com, where the looks can be viewed in motion, up-close and from multiple views.

London Calling! Americana Manhasset Presents Their 2010 Fall Fashion Campaign and Video

This month, Americana Manhasset debuts its ultra-mod Fall Fashion Book, shot entirely in London. The campaign, photographed, produced and styled by Laspata/DeCaro, stars top editorial models Edita Vilkeviciute and Andrew Cooper.

Manhasset, Long Island, NY (PRWEB) August 11, 2010

This month, Americana Manhasset debuts its ultra-mod, 64-page Fall Fashion Book, shot entirely in London. Fall ready-to-wear, accessories and jewelry from the most luxurious brands in the world are captured in a vibrant and stylish look book. Beginning in August 12th, the images will also be featured front and center on Americana’s website. In conjunction with the still images, Americana Manhasset will debut on the website a 30-second cinematic video entitled, ‘Chelsea Girl.’

The campaign, photographed, produced and styled by Laspata/DeCaro, stars top editorial models Edita Vilkeviciute and Andrew Cooper. Embodying London’s metropolitan looks, Americana’s gal and guy about town seamlessly transform from chic Westminster highbrows to stylish West End hipsters. The Beatles, the Queen and Winston Churchill all make “cameo” appearances, adding cheeky humour to the sophisticated imagery.

“The powerful and diverse looks prevalent on the runways provided us with inspiration for Americana Manhasset’s Fall Book,” said Charles DeCaro. “We envisioned a strong, energetic and creative woman with a confident style all her own. We chose different settings throughout London depending on each look, allowing the fashion and respective designers’ messages to shine.” From Fendi and Chanel to Tory Burch and Theory, each brand enjoys a unique image that also works as part of the whole.

The book is direct-mailed exclusively to 150,000 households. The print campaign will also appear in a 4-page insert in W Magazine’s September issue as well as in a spread in the Women’s Fall Fashion issue of The New York Times T Magazine.

Video has become an integral part of Americana’s campaigns. ‘Chelsea Girl,’ inspired in part by the classic British film, ‘Georgy Girl,’ is a fun and flirty short film that epitomizes the energy of the season. In addition, the pages of the book come to life via a video look book on americanamanhasset.com, where the looks can be viewed in motion, up-close and from multiple views.

Additional images from the 2010 Fall Book are available upon request. For more details, don’t forget to check Americana Manhasset’s Blog and Facebook page.
