If you fancy having your art exhibited on 8′ x 8′ (about 2.4 m x 2.4 m) panels on the Rideau Canal Skateway during the 2012 skating season, then enter the “Eco Art National Youth Photo Contest” (warning: read the License before you do). It’s open to young Canadian photographers and the photos must have an environmental theme. Be creative, be original and your photo could be one of 40 to be displayed to hundreds of thousands of visitors during Winterlude, Canada’s winter celebration.
We’re looking for young Canadian photographers who have something to say about the environment. Grab your camera and show us your creative and original views on the environment. Your photo could be exhibited in popular places in Ottawa–Gatineau!

We’ve seen lots of photos and videos of the 9/11 WTC events and read too much already. But when I saw this video, I felt it was different, seen through the eyes of some of the people, like you and I, but who just happened to be there and had a camera with them. Photographing the events of 9/11 leaves a lasting mark on you and had me thinking back to that day 10 years ago: What if I were there with my camera and had snapped those shots? How would I have felt and how would it have changed me? Robert Clark, Klaus Reisinger, Ethan Levitas et Jean-Michel Turpin were there and they share what they experienced and felt as their cameras captured the events.
