Sony NEX-5 with 16mm pancake lens

Sony Europe has posted firmware update for its NEX-3 and NEX-5 Digital Interchangeable Lens cameras that adds an intriguing 3D Sweep Panorama feature. Just press the shutter button and sweep the camera from side to side to capture a high-speed burst of frames that are automatically combined inside the camera to create a seamless panoramic still image containing depth information. Sweep Panoramas can be enjoyed in 3D when the camera is connected to a Sony 3D BRAVIA or any standards-compatible 3D TV.

The Adobe® Photoshop® CS5 12.0.1 update addresses a number of high priority bugs with some of their newest features such as Content-Aware Fill, HDR, 3D, and Painting.

The most significant fixes in the Photoshop 12.0.1 update include the following:
