Nikon DSLR as Hockey Goal Cam

When Alex Ovechkin scored his first of three goals in yesterday’s Washington Capitals’ win over the Pittsburgh Penguins, his shot was at such high velocity that the puck dislodged the cover of the goal cam at the back of the goalie’s net. The camera? A Nikon DSLR. We’ve seen Nikon DSLRs used as traffic cam and now here they are again as goal cams.
