Nikon D3000 Review @ KenRockwell

Tue September 29, 2009

Nikon D3000

Nikon D3000

The D3000 is the worst DSLR ever made by Nikon. Not that it’s that horrible on an absolute scale…

And so, we present to you KenRockwell‘s review of the Nikon D3000 [Specs], an entry-level Family digital SLR camera with 10.2MP (23.6 x 15.8 mm CMOS), PASM, Guide Mode, Scene Modes, 11-point AF, 3.0-in. LCD (230K dots), and RAW. There is no Live View or Movie Mode. The Nikon D3000 can be purchased with the AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR kit lens which is optically image stabilized.

Editor’s note: Since Ken’s review of the Nikon D3000 is overall negative, we present you with a second [positive] opinion from the following expert review sites:

- Nikon D3000 Review @ DCRP (dcresource)
- Nikon D3000 Review @ DigitalCameraReview
- Nikon D3000 Review @ PhotographyBLOG
