Berlin, 2 September 2009: Taking centre stage at IFA, the world’s biggest consumer electronics fair, Sony today announced ‘make.believe’ (pronounced:make dot believe), its new Group-wide brand message.

Symbolising Sony’s spirit of creativity and innovation, it is the first time Sony has introduced a single overarching brand message for all of its entertainment and electronics businesses around the globe. ‘make.believe’ unites Sony’s communication efforts across electronics, games, movies, music, mobile phones and network services.

Imaging Resource has published their hands-on preview of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1 [QuickPrice Check], a 12.1MP Micro Four-Thirds Interchangeable Lens Digital Camera available with either the LUMIX G 20mm/F1.7 ASPH “pancake” kit lens or the LUMIX G VARIO 14-45mm/F3.5-5.6 ASPH/MEGA O.I.S. kit lens. The GF1 features 1280 x 720 High Definition video in AVCHD Lite, My Color mode with seven preset effects, Live View with fast contrast AF, Intelligent Auto mode, Scene modes, Face Detection, Face Recognition, AF Tracking, Intelligent ISO, Intelligent Exposure, Intelligent Scene Selector, built-in flash, 3.0-in. Intelligent LCD (460,000 dots), Dust Reduction system, and an optional Live View Finder attachable via the hot shoe. The GF1 also accepts Four Thirds System interchangeable lenses via an optional mount adaptor DMW-MA1 and Leica M/R lenses using Panasonic’s DMW-MA2M DMW-MA3R.
